Troop Organizer
Job Description: Responsible for recruiting and placing qualified
adults and girls in Girl Scout troops.
Responsibilities and Tasks include (but are not limited to):
- Organize troops and assist in securing meeting places and sponsors
- Recruit Leaders and Co-leaders and making sure each troop meets the adult/girl ratio
outlined in Safety-Wise
- Provide new Leaders with current troop records and materials
- Attend Service Team and Service Unit meetings and get information provided at those
meetings to the leaders in her school.
- The Troop Organizer should be the FIRST contact for any troop leader with a problem,
issue, question, etc.
